Image creator Hugo Richel strives to push the boundaries of digital technology through surrealism. Using the full spectrum of computer graphics, he draws on his fascination with mountains and the ocean to develop techniques for mastering fluids and movements and breathing life into his objects. He questions the relationship between the human body and nature, from physical phenomena such as gravity to the scale ratio between the avatar and its environment. His fluid and organic style has attracted eclectic artists such as Lil Nas X and Tkay Maidza. Hugo has also created several visual campaigns for brands such as Valentino, Kenzo, and Balenciaga. While continuing to explore 3D tools, he wants to develop his skills in the fields of cinema and mixed media: real images and their increasingly intimate connection with virtual images.
