Andzej Gavriss est un réalisateur primé à de nombreuses reprises, originaire d'Europe de l'Est - Lettonie. Diplômé de l'Université des arts audiovisuels en 2015, le réalisateur s’est construit un portfolio solide qui témoigne de son intérêt pour le cinéma expérimental.

Gavriss a remporté le prix de « Director of the year » au Shots Awards 2021, l'argent dans la catégorie « Direction » aux Cannes Lions 2022, le bronze dans la catégorie « Film » aux Cannes Lions 2022, l'argent aux Cannes Lions 2020-2021, l'or dans la catégorie « Direction » aux CLIO, le grand prix CLIO, « Gold Screen » aux YDA 2020, le « Graphite et Wooden Pencil » de la réalisation à D&AD, l’or à UKMVA, meilleure cinématographie dans un clip vidéo à Camerimage, l’Or dans la catégorie « Réalisation » à One Club, plusieurs nominations à Camerimage, Ciclope, Raindance, UKMVA, Kinsale Sharks, Epica Awards, Eurobest, Berlin Commercial Festival, Staff Pick, BMVA, NIFF, Lift-Off Los Angeles et de nombreux autres festivals.

Gavriss a participé au Ciclope Festival 2021 en tant que conférencier pour présenter son travail et partager une analyse de son savoir-faire. Ce portfolio au style particulier associe des prises de vue de qualité à une narration percutante. Andzej voyage beaucoup, il est maintenant basé entre Los Angeles et Berlin et tourne des projets à l’international. En 2022, le réalisateur a rejoint le Clio Music Festival en tant que membre du jury dans la catégorie des clips vidéos.

Andzej Gavriss is a multi award-winning director originally hailing from Eastern Europe - Latvia. Graduated from the University of Audio Visual Arts in 2015, Director has already cultivated a strong body of work that showcases his incredible appetite for experimental filmmaking.

Gavriss work has won a Gold for Director of the year at Shots Awards 2021, Silver for Direction at Cannes Lions 2022, Bronze in Film at Cannes Lions 2022, Silver at Cannes Lions 2020-2021, Gold for Direction at CLIO, Grand Prize at CLIO, Gold Screen at YDA 2020, Graphite & Wooden Pencil for Direction at D&AD, Gold at UKMVA, best cinematography in the music video at Camerimage, Gold for Direction at One Club, been nominated several times at Camerimage, Ciclope, Raindance, UKMVA, Kinsale Sharks, Epica Awards, Eurobest, Berlin Commercial Festival, Staff Pick, BMVA, NIFF, Lift-Off Los Angeles and many other festivals.

Gavriss joined Ciclope Festival 2021 as a speaker to showcase his work and share a breakdown of his craft. The distinctly stylised portfolio combines beautifully crafted shots with storytelling that packs a punch. Andzej is a keen traveler, now based between LA and Berlin and shooting projects internationally. In 2022 director jointed Clio Music Festival as a jury member in music video category.
