Press Review : Rolling Stones

Colin Solal Cardo is a french film director based in Paris.

He launched his career with live music phenomenon La Blogothèque, directing videos for international artists such as Alicia Keys, Phoenix or Jack White - his one-take "Take-Away Show" for Damon Albarn & Mura Masa earned him a UKMVA Award.

In 2019, Colin has directed some of the most critically acclaimed music videos, interlacing performance, fashion and cinema in timeless statement pieces, collaborating with prestigious artists: Robyn and Louis Vuitton's Nicolas Ghesquière for ‘Ever Again', a collaboration with Charli XCX, Yseult and sculptor Esmay Wagemans for the empowering anthem ‘Corps’, to name a few.

Mostly, a close and rich partnership blossomed with french pop star Christine and the Queens. In 2020 they released a short-film / long-form music video for her critically acclaimed EP 'La Vita Nuova’, produced by Frenzy: 5 songs, shot in the Garnier Opera of Paris, choreographed by Ryan Heffington.

With this last piece, Colin perfects his unique language, now more narrative and cinematic than ever.
